I'd never heard of Addison Rae before, so I listened to one of her songs on You Tube. Wow, she's bad. If a slice of processed cheese could sing, this is what it would sound like.
Baltimore has "Club 603," which is in someone's home. The bands set up in the living room, with capacity for about 100 people. I've seen Wussy, Emma Swift, Paranoid Style, and other bands there. Plus they have snacks! a great venue!
"She doesn't have to have her Young Fresh Fellows tape back"--as always glad you covered it instead of me. Except for the house concert which looked like fun. As for Coachella, I saw a clip of Iggy and felt like it's time for him to wear a shirt.
I wanna buy tickets to the next Couchella...and a Young Fresh Fellows salon! Thanks for this Gina!!!!
Brilliant & on point!
Touring with the YFF in 1988 remains a vividly hazy memory for me. What a band. Thanks for this piece.
I like that happy ending!
I was also on Euro tour w Gina/Rebecca following the YFFs/Bums, Couchella and John Padilla Couchella -- hat trick!
Yep! Somewhere I have pics of us all in Europe - but this one of Mel in front of the van was the only one I could find at the moment...

I am sorry that happened to you. :)

That TMBG line is about my friend Karen.
whoa! Antechamber of Fame for me, knowing someone who knows that someone! I used to try to play that song!
